Location: District – South Brackendale Elementary School.
Effective Date: September 8, 2026.
Hours: 4.75 hours per day (Education Assistant), 1.0 hour per day (Supervision), 0.5 hour per day (Early Childhood Educator).
Rate of Pay: $33.69/hour (Education Assistant); $34.59/hour (Early Childhood Educator).
EDUCATION ASSISTANT
Under the direction of the Principal(s) and the general supervision of the Classroom Teacher(s), provides assistance to students who have physical disabilities, chronic health diagnoses, intellectual disabilities and/or social, emotional and behavioural needs as designated by the Director of Instruction, while supporting the achievement of stated program goals and objectives. Supervision of a designated area either inside or outside the school, before, during and/or after school as defined by the terms of the assignment.
