Job Overview

Under the direction of the Planning and Development Manager, this non‑union position is responsible for leading and implementing the City of Dawson’s economic development, housing, and strategic project initiatives. The Economic Development Officer (EDO) serves as a key link between policy and implementation by advancing priority projects, securing external funding, fostering partnerships, and supporting sustainable economic growth within the community.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders to support development opportunities, housing initiatives, strategic planning priorities, and investment attraction efforts.
