In this full-time position, you will support the business by advising on North American chemical control regulations, including the Canadian Environmental Protection Act and US Toxic Substances Control Act. Your duties include assessing product compliance, managing requests from environmental agencies, and maintaining regulatory databases. Strong communication and project management skills will be essential to navigate compliance challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor regulatory changes in chemical safety
• Evaluate products for compliance with existing regulations
• Respond to inquiries from ECCC and the EPA
• Prepare necessary notifications for new substances
• Participate in relevant trade associations
