District Itinerant Teacher of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing
Job Description
The successful candidate
will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education Teacher Regulation Branch AND possesses one or more of the following: Training Specialization: A District Resource Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing has a valid teaching certificate with a Master's degree or Diploma in Education of the deaf and hard of hearing. They also are eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Educators for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CAEDHH) Related Teaching Experience: Demonstrated successful experience as a School Based Resource teacher/learning assistant A Reasonable Expectation: based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff Additional Qualifications: Not required for this posting Other: See District's outl...
