Job Description
- Conduct site inspections of completed electrical distribution projects to verify compliance with as-built designs, technical standards, and safety regulations.
- Inspect installations such as primary/secondary circuit framing, transformers, poles, directional drilling, road bores, conduit installations, and unique locations (e.g., islands, swamps, waterways, high groundwater areas).
- Validate that all construction work aligns with Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC), Ontario Regulation 22/04, and Hydro One’s technical specifications.
- Ensure that site remediation (e.g., removal of old equipment, repair of site damage) is completed.
