The Director will manage youth protection services under the Executive Director’s guidance. You will oversee compliance with the Youth Protection Act while providing strategic direction for services impacting the Indigenous community. Collaboration with stakeholders is essential to enhance service accessibility and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct compliance with Youth Protection Act regulations
• Advise on legislative changes affecting youth services
• Facilitate community needs assessments for program planning
• Implement cultural best practices in service delivery
• Supervise financial and operational management of youth programs
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Eight years of experience in a First Nations context
