Elevate educational practices as the Director of Instruction: Learning and Innovation at Central Okanagan Public Schools. Lead transformative teaching methods promoting learner agency and inclusion.
This leadership role reports to the Assistant Superintendent and focuses on driving competency-based literacy and numeracy initiatives. Collaborate with school leadership to foster a sustainable instructional strategy aligned with the district’s goals. Ideal candidates will exhibit advanced system-level leadership while providing an inclusive and engaging learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead district-wide instructional improvement initiatives
• Foster collaborative professional learning systems
• Supervise the Learning & Innovation Team
• Design evidence-informed pedagogical practices
• Cultivate communities of practice for educators
Requirements:
• Valid BC Teacher certificate
• Master’s degree in education or related field
