As the Director of Lands and Resources, you will play a pivotal role in managing the Tribe’s natural resources and planning initiatives under the established Treaty. This position calls for an experienced professional who comprehensively understands land governance issues and a commitment to Indigenous knowledge systems. You will work closely with partners to ensure responsible management and protect the Tribe’s environmental interests.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage departmental resources and budgets efficiently
• Ensure implementation of environmental and land use plans
• Lead stakeholder consultations and negotiations
• Mentor staff to cultivate a collaborative workplace
• Create and publish policies for environmental management
