Job Description
Our client is a high‑profile organization with its head office located in the Lower Mainland. An excellent position has arisen for a CPA to function as Director of Finance & Administration.
Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting and financial reporting and analysis for the group of companies.
Cash‑flow monitoring and forecasting.
Detailed budgeting.
Prepare external financial statements for six companies.
Prepare monthly management reporting, financial statements, and consolidations.
Review monthly reconciliations of G/L accounts prepared by staff.
Analyze income statements and operations results, monitoring actual versus budget spending.
Liaise with group insurance agent for rate renewal and administration of group extended medical insurance plans.
Supervise the accounting staff on a daily basis and prepare analysis, forecasts, internal reports, schedules, and financial and non‑financial informa...
