THE DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL will work as part of a team to provide support to people in all aspects of daily living.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Attending to people’s medical needs, specialist appointments and health related supports (diet/nutrition, exercise) and ensure accurate records are maintained.
- Help a person with planning to achieve their goals and pursue interests as well as helping them.
