Diagnostic Radiology
Job Description
Role and Facility Information
At Kelowna General Hospital (KGH), we’re looking to add a diagnostic radiologist with fellowship training. The department has four CT scanners, two MRIs (including a 3 Tesla magnet), and is expanding to add two new MRI units, an interventional fluoroscopy suite, digital mammography, and a PET scanner at the adjacent BCCA. We are the only IH site performing MRI‑guided breast biopsies. At our three clinics we perform X‑ray, ultrasound, bone mineral density, and diagnostic mammography. Procedural requirements for diagnostic radiologists are predominantly biopsies and drainages. Vascular intervention, nephrostomy tubes, and complex biliary work are handled by the IR team. We welcome new graduates and locum opportunities. All radiologists have access to home reporting and rotations. Leadership development is available through Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Program.
