## DG BOSS: Marine Outboard Mechanic (FN)Applylocations: Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territorytime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R*********Title:**DG BOSS: Marine Outboard Mechanic (FN)* Responsible for the maintenance and repairs of outboard engines and auxiliary systems/equipment on all Utility Boats (UBs), Rapid Response Skimmers (RRSs), and small crafts equipped with outdrive stern units cognizant to A-06 Port Operations.
Work includes but are not limited to:*
a) Removal, installation, overhaul, repair, troubleshooting and diagnosing of outboard engines/mechanical system, hydraulics, electrical system and associated equipment (i.e. throttle/engine controls, steering, bilge pumps, fuel distribution and cooling system components), compliant with applicable technical manuals and manufacturer's specifications.

b) Assessment, reporting and accomplishing corrections and upgrades on safety and functions of boats and boat trailers.
