Deputy Head, Credit Risk Management

Our client, a well-established financial institution, is seeking an experienced Deputy Head, Credit Risk Management to support the leadership of its Credit Risk function. This role will be responsible for overseeing credit underwriting, approval, and monitoring processes while ensuring that all lending activities align with the bank’s Risk Appetite Framework, internal credit policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will lead a team of credit analysts and reviewers, conduct complex credit evaluations, and help shape credit policies and portfolio strategies that balance risk and return. This position also plays a key role in regulatory interactions and will act as the second‑in‑command within the Credit Risk Management Department, stepping in for the Head of the department when required.
