Designated Early Childhood Educator TEMPORARY The duration of temporary assignments cannot be guaranteed The Simcoe County District School Board is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Designated Early Childhood Educator. Reporting to the Principal, the Designated Early Childhood Educator will partner with the Kindergarten Teacher to plan and implement a full-day early learning program. The Designated Early Childhood Educator will collaborate in the design of programs and environments which will enhance children’s cognitive, physical, social and emotional development. Qualifications and Skills Required: Two year community college Early Childhood Education Diploma; Proof of current membership with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE); A minimum of six (6) months recent experience working in an early learning centre or day care; Knowledge of Ministry of Education full-day kindergarten program; Ability to communicate in a sensitive, courteous manner with children, p...
