Data Governance Analyst (Medellín)

The Data Governance Analyst plays a key operational role in the implementation of Data Governance across Viamericas under the DAMA-DMBOK framework. This position is responsible for executing the detailed activities required to document data domains, define metadata, capture business rules, measure data quality, and support the functional deployment of the enterprise data catalog.

Working under the direction of the Data Governance Specialist, this role gathers input from business, development, and operations teams, ensuring that governance proposals are well-documented, accurate, and ready for review and approval by the Data Governance Committee. The analyst supports the organizational shift toward a data‑driven culture by enabling high‑quality, well‑managed, and AI‑ready data assets that align with Viamericas’ Data & A.I. strategy.
