Our Client's Digital Platforms Insights team is looking for a Data Engineer with a strong background in ETL development and SQL querying.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Designing and developing HIVE code
- Designing and developing automated solutions
- Performance monitoring and tuning of existing automated jobs
- Troubleshooting failures
- Ad hoc analyses
- Query data to answer business questions and to support investigations
What you need to succeed
- Outstanding ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Thorough, take detailed notes and capture correct information
- Strong ETL development background
- BASH experience
- Understanding of YARN and HDFS
- Experience with SQL for analysis and data investigation
- AWS cloud experience a plus, but not required (Cloudwatch, Lambda, EMR, Athena) ...
