Customs Compliance Specialist

Buckland is looking for a Customs Compliance Specialist - Classification.

• Complete HTS and ECCN tariff classification determinations, reviews, and opinions.
• Submit applications for customs rulings for complex tariff, origin and valuation opinions.
• Review and maintain database integrity by utilizing both internal and client provided software to organize, prioritize workload, drafting processes, and create reports.
• Provide broker and client assistance with antidumping and countervailing duty assessment or equivalent (e.g., SIMA in Canada).
• Liaise with significant business partners on Customs compliance issues.
• Maintain good written and verbal communication skills.
• Apply your skills with Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail by ensuring accuracy and sound decision making.
