Job Description
Crew Leaders are responsible for the day‑to‑day supervision, safety, and support of youth participants (Rangers) throughout the Outland Youth Employment Program. Crew Leaders work directly with youth and play a primary role in modeling workplace expectations, healthy group living, and professional behaviour. Many Rangers are experiencing their first job and first paycheque—Crew Leaders are essential mentors in building confidence, accountability, and readiness for work.
Crew Leaders maintain a clean, orderly, and professional camp environment at all times and are expected to build respectful, supportive relationships with Rangers and staff. This is a highly hands‑on leadership role that requires maturity, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills in a communal, remote setting.
