What This Role Involves

CCS is seeking a Credit Counsellor to work on a hybrid basis in Halifax. As a Credit Counsellor, you will provide compassionate guidance to clients navigating financial challenges to help them manage debt, overcome barriers, and achieve their financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients’ financial situations, helping them gain a clear understanding of their income, expenses, and debt obligations.
• Provide personalized options and strategies to help clients effectively manage and resolve their debts.
• Offer ongoing support through a Debt Management Program, enabling clients to pay off their debts with interest relief.
• Serve as a trusted resource, answering questions and following up to ensure clients stay on track toward financial stability.
