Cost Accountant (Ciénega de Flores)

Location: Cienega, Reciente Leon, Mexico
Reports to: Mexico Controller
Position: Exempt

• Analytically review cost reduction projects and provide support to the Engineering department
• Manage costs effectively
• Review the Cost Structure
• Analyze cost variances
• Suggest improvements to enhance cost efficiency and production processes
• Prepare monthly cost reports and closing statements
• Accurately assess inventory valuation
• Determine production costs
• Coordinate and control physical and cycle inventory counts
• Report weekly sales figures to Finance for analysis and reconciliation

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• Advanced (at least 80%) English fluency
• At least 3 years of experience in similar positions in the manufacturing industry
