Join Scarborough Health Network as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in Core Laboratory services. Utilize your expertise in Microbiology, Hematology, and other specialties across various SHN hospitals.
As a Core Laboratory Technologist, you will report to the Manager and provide essential laboratory services independent of direct supervision. You must hold a General Certificate of Registration with CMLTO in Chemistry, Microbiology, Histology, Hematology, and Immunohematology. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential as you strive to foster customer service in your interactions with patients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide professional laboratory services across SHN hospitals
• Work independently while maintaining high-performance standards
• Engage in regular in-service education on safety protocols
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Identify and report safety hazards effectively
