Coordinator - Proposals

Job Description

As the Coordinator - Proposals, you will interact with existing customers to maintain day‑to‑day sales of the Company’s products and/or services. You will quote, obtain, and generate orders, creating customer satisfaction and adding value to the customer's buying experience. You will be responsible for managing large sales datasets specific to sourcing, catalog, supplier, inventory and project management.

Responsibilities

• Obtain orders through email and telephone calls, verify and enter items, transfer orders to fulfillment, explain stock‑outs and expected delivery dates.
• Review open customer order reports and take action on open items, including those that may be at risk in meeting customer’s promised delivery date.
• Maintain distribution system back‑order report, associated customer expediting report and notifications.
