Become the pivotal force for safety as the Health Safety Environment Coordinator in Belleville. Focus on Occupational Health and Environmental Management to protect both people and the planet.
This role, based in a leading automotive technology firm, requires you to implement safety management systems while championing employee safety. Lead initiatives such as the Zero Harm program, manage claims, and conduct comprehensive safety audits. You will be an integral part of compliance strategies and safety policy development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and manage ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems
• Drive and track Zero Harm program success
• Manage WSIB claims effectively
• Conduct thorough hazard assessments and audits
• Lead the Joint Health & Safety Committee to drive initiatives
