Job Description
Role Overview
The Project Document Controller will play a critical role in ensuring effective control, tracking, and distribution of technical documents, drawings, and project correspondence throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately register documents into standard document control systems and maintain up-to-date records in accordance with naming conventions, revision controls, and project procedures.
- Ensure controlled copies of approved documents and drawings are distributed to appropriate project stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers in a timely manner.
- Prepare, issue, receive, and log electronic document transmittals, ensuring full traceability and clear communication across the project team and external parties.
- Assist in tracking engineering and supplier deliverables from issue through receipt, including monitoring progress through to project close‑out and handover to operations.
