Coop - Bioassay Development

Under the guidance of a Principal Scientist, the Pre‑Clinical Services Intern will be responsible for assisting the Bioassay Development team at Cytiva Nanomedicine in Vancouver with a variety of potency assays.

What you'll do

• Refer to available literature to prepare study plans and participate in experimental design, problem‑solving and technical discussions.
• Use routine bioassay techniques to characterize nanoparticle formulations and assess their potency.
• Design and perform experiments to analyze the in vitro potency of drug formulations using standard techniques detailed below.
• Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reports and technical presentations.
• Assist with daily tasks in the lab such as maintenance, buffer preparation, ordering, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
