Controls Engineer

Responsibilities
Comply with local and national labor agreements.
Implement divisional and corporate policies.
Implement safety and good housekeeping practices.
Maintain frequent contact and collaboration with others outside the work group.
Manage the effective use of personnel, material and equipment.
Participate in the selection of new employees.
Train, develop and evaluate employees.
Establish a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project.
Provide technical guidance for complex and unusual plant operations or projects.
Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts within the assigned area.
Obtain a deep knowledge and ability to implement GM's Maintenance System (GMS) principles.
Knowledge & Technical Qualifications
Mechatronics, electronics, and automation knowledge with the ability to identify electrical and electronic systems.
