Controls Electrical Designer

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for completing physical design on various substation projects.The Senior Electrical Engineer will work with the project team throughout the design and construction process, adapting electrical plans according to budget constraints, design factors and client needs.Job Functions:Prepare/create construction documents for installation of new or modification of existing substations including bill of materials, yard layouts, plans, sections, and electrical details.Select, recommend, and prepare preliminary designs.Perform calculations such as lightning, grounding, and conduit fill.Create/modify technical specifications for major equipment, such as power transformers, power circuit breakers, control houses, and other related materials.Provide engineering, construction, and testing & commissioning support for projects.Review design drawings and specifications to ensure projects meet acceptable standards of operability, functionality, mainta...
