Job Description
Role: Control System Engineer
Location: McArthur River, SK
Contract Duration: 06/16/2026 to 12/31/2026
Reporting to the chief engineer, maintenance, the successful candidate will be executing and managing OT (operational technology) control systems and industrial processes with a focus on safety, asset reliability, uptime, and real‑time operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, optimize, design, and manage the industrial process control system such as PLC, DCS systems, OT networking and cyber security, and communication systems to make the system reliable.
- Maintain and improve the plant’s automation systems.
- Manage small sustaining projects related to control system upgrade or current automation.
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC and DCS systems.
- Test, modify and update PLC and DCS programs and verify functionality.
