Continuing Care Assistant

Job Requirements:

• Valid Nova Scotia Drivers License & Insurance
• Clear Drivers Abstract & Criminal Record Check
• Valid First Aid and CPR Level C or HCP ( Training Available )
• Valid WHMIS ( Training Available )
• COVID-19 Vaccination Not Required

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide general attention to client's non-medical needs in accordance with an established Care Plan.
• Aids with all aspects of personal care, including bathing (tub, shower, or bed bath), grooming, oral hygiene, mobility assistance, transferring and positioning, and incontinence care. ( Training available )
• Assists with or provides meal preparation, feeding, light housekeeping, laundry, companionship, transportation, errands, and shopping. The level of assistance will be outlined in the client’s care plan.
