Consultant in Histopathology
Job Description
We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant in Histopathology on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Histopathology department.
The appointee will be joining a department that's specialised services include cancer diagnosis and treatment, cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, renal and dialysis services, neonatal intensive care and paediatric intensive care. We are recognised for our particular expertise in trauma, respiratory conditions, spinal surgery, upper gastro-intestinal surgery, complex orthopaedic surgery, laparoscopic surgery and the management of liver conditions.Our client's cellular pathology processes in excess of 65000 surgical cases, 5500 non-gynaecological cytology cases and 1000 post mortems (the majority for H M Coroner) per annum.
