Job Description
Experience hands-on engineering with a Construction Internship at Rio Tinto’s Diavik Diamond Mine. This rotational position invites students to broaden their field experience from September through April.
As a Construction Field Intern, you will work under the guidance of project professionals in a diverse environment. The role includes surveying and conducting quality control for substantial earthworks, with two-week rotations that allow for comprehensive learning and involvement in active projects. Travel to the site from Yellowknife or Edmonton is arranged.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute quantity surveys and ensure quality of construction
• Coordinate with engineers and operations personnel
• Promote site safety and control surveys efficiently
• Track equipment and labor productivity with PITRAM
• Engage in earthworks project supervision
Requirements:
• Enrolled in an accredited engineering COOP program
• At least 2 years of engineering study completed...
