Comprehensive Family Practitioner Role
Job Description
Become a Family Practitioner dedicated to serving Indigenous communities. Partner with health advocates to develop implementative care strategies in W’SANEC communities.
This position supports a holistic health care approach, working with a team of diverse professionals including Nurse Practitioners and Counsellors, to ensure comprehensive support for the health needs of the Tsawout First Nation. You will employ a relational health care model informed by Indigenous worldviews and engage actively with community members. Transitioning from Tsawout to the WSANEC clinic, you will ensure consistent and accessible services across multiple locations.

• Develop and implement accountability measures in care
• Administer OAT and follow-ups for patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary health teams
