Job Summary
As a Commodity Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement activities related to the sourcing of components such as machined parts, magnets, plastics, bearings, and similar.
Location: SP, Brazil or Reynosa Tamaulipas, Mexico.
Responsibilities- Managing supply chains, sourcing, reviewing, and buying commodities
- Perform cost analysis using concepts of “Should Cost”, “TCO”, and other methods
- Evaluating and prospecting in the market supply base expansion
- Negotiating long‑term agreements to maximize sourcing potential
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and distributors
- Analyzing market trends and identifying risks
- Adhering to project‑approved budgets
- Resolving vendor conflicts and commodity‑related issues
- Working with NPD (new product development) team members to ensure fast and seamless introduction of new designs to full production
