Collaborative School Psychologist Position
Job Description
Become a part of the Learning Services Department as a School Psychologist. This role focuses on collaborative consultation and psycho-educational assessments within a diverse educational setting.
The School Psychologist will work independently and within a team, supporting the District’s Strategic Plan for all learners. Responsibilities include providing consultations with teachers and parents, developing educational plans like the IEP, and conducting psycho-educational assessments. Additionally, the role involves training staff and assisting with educational designations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide consultation at school-based team meetings
• Assist with pre-referral interventions for students
• Conduct individualized psycho-educational assessments
• Contribute to IEP development and educational plans
• Offer in-service training on interventions and assessments
