Job Description
Safran Landing Systems is looking for a CNC Programming Expert in Ajax, Ontario for a permanent, full-time position. This role revolves around creating CNC programs and ensuring the efficiency of manufacturing processes.
You will work closely with manufacturing engineering to develop programs using CATIA V5 and manage tooling and probing routines. A strong focus on quality and cost enhancements will be paramount, as you'll be tasked with identifying process improvement opportunities. Your experience in CNC machining will enable you to tackle technical challenges on the shop floor effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage CNC programs for various machines
• Implement appropriate laser tool measuring
• Create and maintain Tooling Lists and Setup Sheets
• Ensure part quality through effective probing practices
• Lead quality and process improvement projects
Requirements:
• Proficient with CATIA V5 and simulation tools
