Job Description
Make a significant impact on nursing excellence as a Clinical Scholar mentoring newly graduated and transitioning nurses. This pivotal role focuses on real-time support and professional growth in a clinical setting.
In collaboration with the Director of Nursing, the Clinical Scholar serves experienced RNs who are committed to the development of newly hired nurses. Your role will include facilitating ongoing education and embedding best practices into everyday nursing workflows. You will be instrumental in enhancing patient safety and care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor and support new and transitioning nurses on unit
• Integrate evidence-based practices into clinical care routines
• Lead formal and informal learning opportunities
• Collaborate with Professional Practice and Clinical Educators
• Document progress and provide constructive feedback
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Nursing; CPMHN(C) certification advantageous
