Overview

The Clinical Resource Leader (CRL), Renal is a registered nurse with advanced expertise in hemodialysis care, focused on leading the operational and practice excellence of the renal nursing team. The CRL supports staff through education, practice development, and quality initiatives, ensuring the delivery of safe, evidence-informed, and person-centered care.

The CRL works in partnership with the Renal Program leadership to maintain patient and staff safety practices, engage staff in evidence-informed best practices, and promote a culture of continuous quality improvement. The CRL identifies learning and development needs for direct care providers (RN & RPN), supports competency development, and collaborates with leadership to enhance staff performance. Proficiency in providing feedback and addressing nursing practice concerns is essential.
