Clinical Educator

Duties & Responsibilities

• Facilitate 2-3 nursing staffing orientation groups per month, including 4–5 practicum days throughout the month depending on number of new hires and locations they will be serving (i.e. NU, BC, ON, AB, MB, YK, NWT).
• Assist in updating e-learning modules for all Northern contracts, marking orientation assignments, and participating in the enhancement of the orientation/practicum program for Northern Nurses.
• Complete a maximum of four Northern Nursing assignments providing direct patient care in the communities (2–4 week assignments).
• Support clinical initiatives specific to Remote and Northern nursing service delivery, including but not limited to: acute care, primary, continuing & long‑term care, and home care.
