Client and Family Advisory Council Member
Job Description
Shape the future of mental health services with AMHS-KFLA's Client & Family Advisory Council (CFAC) from the comfort of your home. This role seeks those with lived experiences to guide agency initiatives.
AMHS-KFLA is looking for adults over 18 to join the CFAC, offering 3-6 hours of commitment each month. Members will meet regularly to discuss key issues relating to policy and program implementations. You will have the opportunity to impact how services are structured and delivered, ensuring they reflect the voices of those who have lived through mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend monthly meetings to provide policy advice
• Share lived experiences to inform continuous improvements
• Evaluate community issues impacting clients
• Collaborate in a driven, solution-oriented advisory group
• Develop personal skills through council interactions
