The Class 5 5-ton City Pick up & Delivery driver is responsible for:
Completing local deliveries within Melfort and the surrounding area in a timely and efficient mannerOperating and maintaining a 5-ton delivery truck in accordance with company policies and local regulationsPlanning and optimizing delivery routes to ensure on-time performance and fuel efficiencyLoading and unloading cargo safely, using proper lifting techniques and equipment when necessaryVerifying shipments against delivery orders and reporting any discrepanciesCollecting signatures and payments for deliveries when requiredMaintaining accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenanceConducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and complianceCommunicating effectively with dispatch, customers, and team membersAdhering to all traffic laws and safety regulatio...
