Civil Engineering Technologist

THE OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineering Technologist to join the Town of Olds, Alberta. This role supports the planning, design, construction, and lifecycle management of municipal infrastructure, with a primary focus on technical delivery and project execution.

Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure, the position will lead and support large-scale capital projects, including underground and road rehabilitation, roadway design, intersection assessments, and master planning initiatives. The role will also contribute to development engineering reviews, shallow utility permitting, and the ongoing update of engineering design standards and specifications. Working within a small, collaborative team, this position blends both field and office responsibilities.
