Civil Designer

Integrated Geomatics Inc. has a permanent, full-time opportunity for a Civil Designer to join our growing team based out of Calgary, Alberta . In this position, the successful applicant will complete a wide variety of civil engineering design tasks with an emphasis on Pad Sites, Access Roads, and Watercourse Crossings. The successful applicant will work in a hybrid capacity with a mix of office work and site visits, depending on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop grade models using survey and LiDAR data
• Innovate and implement solutions for grading, drainage, road, and watercourse crossings
• Create detailed civil engineering designs and drawings
• Perform calculations and analyses to ensure designs meet regulatory standards
• Interpret and review project plans and other technical documents
• Generate Machine Control Files from Design Drawings
