Job Description
Salary Range: $56,014.00 – $58,323.00 annually.
Contract: 15 months, full‑time (35 hours/week) – August 24, 2026 to December 1, 2027.
Location: Mount Albert Public School, 5488 Mt Albert Rd, East Gwillimbury, ON. Requires travel within York Region.
Position
Reporting to the Manager of Day Treatment Classrooms, the Day Treatment Child & Youth Worker provides assessment, intervention, treatment, advocacy and support to children and youth who struggle to function in a regular classroom setting due to social, emotional and/or behavioural concerns. The role emphasises a multi‑disciplinary approach that complements school‑based mental health intervention, an integrated agency model, and the school community.
