Chemist

R3 Environmental Systems, part of the Municipal Group of Companies, operates an Industrial Wastewater Treatment Facility and is looking for a dedicated individual with hands‑on practicality and knowledge of basic chemistry and laboratory skills to work in their laboratory as a Chemist. This is a full‑time position.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Collect, prepare and test water samples using various techniques such as GC/FID/PID, Hach DR6000, Microtox, Dexsel, distillations, etc.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot analytical equipment.
• Maintain accurate, real‑time records of all laboratory activities.
• Maintain quality control records and perform quality review of data.
• Prepare and test analytical standards, blanks, etc.
• Maintain and use the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to record and document all analytical activities during processing of samples.
