Job Description
Become a Program Leader in Charlottetown, PE, starting April 17th, 2024. This position focuses on engaging children aged 5-12 in a safe, fun afterschool environment.
We are seeking a dedicated Program Leader to work 21 hours per week for a 9-week contract at our Afterschool Program. Your role will involve maintaining a safe space while facilitating activities, managing behaviors, and ensuring effective communication with children, staff, and families. You'll enhance the participants' experience and assist in maintaining daily operations to foster emotional and physical well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Be onsite Monday to Friday during program hours
• Facilitate engaging activities for participants
• Manage complex behaviors in a supportive manner
• Communicate effectively with staff and families
• Maintain logs of interactions and incidents
