Overview

The Consumer Investigations Unit seeks a Case Assessment Officer (CAO) to conduct assessments of consumer protection complaints, determine the appropriate course of action, and prepare files for investigation. The role involves interpreting consumer protection statutes, gathering evidence, and providing support to the intake and assessment team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of incoming consumer protection complaints to determine whether to record intelligence, refer information, educate, or recommend an investigation.
