Overview

As a member of the Maple Ridge WorkBC Centre team, the Career Coach (Youth) plays a dynamic role working with youth who are looking for employment and supporting the daily operations of the Centre.

Responsibilities

Individual Support

• Conduct needs assessment to identify strengths and employment barriers
• Determine eligibility for financial supports and services
• Tailor services to individual client needs
• Assist client with development of individualized action plans that clearly outline goals, service needs, and steps to achieve desired employment
• Provide ongoing client support including documenting progress and outcomes using the Ministry approved database
