Locums - New Orleans, Louisiana, Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Opening
Start Date:September 1, 2026
Contract Length:Ongoing Need
Coverage Needs:Seeking 1-2 providers for coverage 1-2 weeks per month
Schedule Details:
- 7on/7off
- 7am -7pm day shifts + Call (Providers on call for 7 days)
- Night call responsibilities included
- Two providers scheduled during daytime hours
- Night call primarily consists of calls from fellows and occasional physician-to-physician transfer discussions through the transfer center
- Providers must be comfortable accepting admissions remotely through the transfer center
Practice Setting:Hospital
Patient Population:Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant patients, including:
- Pre-transplant
- LVAD
- Post-transplant
- Other high-acuity cardiac patients
