Cardiology - Heart Failure and Transplant Physician

Cardiology- Louisiana

Seeking 1-2 providers for ongoing coverage for 1-2 weeks/month

• Work Dates Needed: Estimated Start Date: - 09/01/2026-Ongoing
• Preferred Schedule: 12 hour day shifts + night call
• Worksite Setting: Inpatient
• Scope of Work: High-acuity Advanced Heart Failure/Cardiac cases: (Pre-transplant, LVAD, Post-transplant, complex cardiac population)
• Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active LA State License or IMLC, ACLS. NO pending malpractice cases.
• EMR: Epic

Support Structure:

• Work alongside 5 APPs
• Strong team-based environment

Call Responsibilities:

• Primarily calls from fellows
• Occasional transfer center call for physician-to-physician transfers
• Must be comfortable accepting admissions remotely
