Work as a hospitalist looking after post‑op cardiac surgery patients on the acute cardiac ward at VGH. We are currently looking for a hospitalist to join our multidisciplinary team. Start date is July 1, 2026 (flexible) to cover 7‑10 shifts per month including one weekend per month. No nights or call.

Patients are recovering from coronary artery bypass graft, valve and aortic surgeries. You will manage patients with multiple co‑morbidities along with common post‑op complications including atrial fibrillation, acute kidney injury, delirium, pneumonia, stroke, and heart failure. You will be an integral part of patients’ recovery and path to being discharged.
